Our Story
PMO TuneUp, LLC was born from the desire of our founder to help organizations “tune up” their project portfolio management systems and processes, gain clarity from chaos, and accelerate product delivery.
Similar to our vehicles, project portfolio management ecosystems need to be routinely maintained to ensure they working optimally. Whether in start up mode or an already established firm, having an adaptable and scalable approach to identifying, planning, executing, monitoring and prioritizing initiatives keeps organizations nimble and able to pivot direction.
Our goal is to engage with our clients, understand their current state of project portfolio management—what are their issues, what’s working / not working, how do they measure success and what would be a home run for them and create a plan to “tune up” their project portfolio management ecosystem.

About the Founder
Petar Topalovic, MS, PMP, PfMP has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 23 years across small to larger, Fortune 500 companies in both brand and generics. He started his career as a scientist and over time grew a curiosity to understand how all the experiments connected together. Driven by this passion, he came across project management and it was an instant connection, as this career pivot gave the opportunity to see how all the different pieces fit together and connect strategy with execution.
Petar has worked across different parts of the development lifecycle including pre-clinical, R&D, clinical development, dossier submission / regulatory review, technology transfers, and new product launch which has given him valuable insight into understanding the product journey. As Peter’s career progressed and responsibilities grew, he was able to identify ways to deliver enterprise impact through enhance current PPM systems, scale up data management capabilities and increase the speed with which decisions are being made.
Building off these incredible experiences and the desire to continue helping organizations accelerate product delivery, it was time for another career pivot and thus PMO TuneUp, LLC was born!
